Wouldn't be great if librarians played the role they used to and told rude patrons to be quiet. I have tried to work in All libraries on the Sunshine Coast and it really isn't possible without young and old murmuring to each other or answering mobile phones. Maybe we should ask anyone from the council to work here for a week. Obviously these kids can talk in libraries at school and think they can behave the same way in a public library. Someone needs to teach them courtesy or tell them to go elsewhere. Bring back libraries as they used to be. They aren't childcare centres or cafes.
